Having spent my editing career moving seamlessly between scripted and documentary content, I have truly had to do it all. My skills are more than just technically adept. I have spent the better part of two decades crafting stories (or finding the story when there isn’t one), creating engaging content even when I have limited material available, and using my innate sense of pacing, music editing, and sound design to polish the most challenging projects.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California, and I have taught as an adjunct professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, educating future generations of aspiring filmmakers.
I am a proud member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE), the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the Motion Picture Editor’s Guild. I feel fortunate to have had my work honored with an Eddie Award nomination from ACE, as well as projects I have edited honored with Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and a Critics' Choice Award win.
My most recent project is a scripted feature for critically acclaimed filmmaker Robert Machoian, The Integrity of Joseph Chambers, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022 (U.S. Narrative Competition), and has been met with stellar reviews from Roger Ebert, Variety, and Hollywood Reporter, among others.
Through all of these experiences, I have built my career and feel so lucky to do what I love every day, using my talent to craft films and television that tell compelling stories. Please feel free to explore my website, view my résumé and samples of my editing and writing/producing, and contact me to discuss future projects!
