Yvette M. Amirian, ACE is an award-nominated Armenian-American Film and Television Editor. After graduating from USC’s School of Cinema-Television, she built a successful editing career, having also served as a writer and producer on multiple projects, and has been transitioning seamlessly between cutting scripted and documentary content for twenty years.

In 2011, Yvette and her team received an Eddie Award nomination from the American Cinema Editors (ACE) for their work on Whale Wars (Best Edited Non-Scripted Series). In 2017, she edited and produced John Singleton's L.A. Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later, which was nominated for an Emmy (Outstanding Documentary Special). 

Yvette’s latest projects include a fiction feature for critically acclaimed filmmaker Robert Machoian, The Integrity of Joseph Chambers, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022 (U.S. Narrative Competition), and released theatrically in 2023; as well as Ophelia Harutyunyan’s It Takes a Village, “Best International Film” Winner at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts Film Festival in 2023. Her most recent work includes the original comedy feature for Amazon, ExMas directed by Jonah Feingold, currently streaming on Prime Video.

Yvette is a proud member of the Motion Picture Editor's Guild, the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences, and the American Cinema Editors. She has also taught Motion Picture Editing as an adjunct faculty member at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, and loves educating future generations of aspiring filmmakers.
